Directions from the M6:

Exit the M6 at Junction 38 (Tebay) and follow the A685 (a very straight road) EAST towards Brough and Kirkby Stephen for 5.25 miles. You'll see the Newbiggin-on-Lune village sign, turn right into the village, Luneside Cottages are 50 yards on your left, immediately after the Methodist Chapel, parking is to the rear.

Directions from the A66:

Exit the A66 at Brough and head SOUTHWEST on the A685 towards Kirkby Stephen, a distance of 3 miles. Drive right through the town centre and head on towards Tebay and the M6 and up a steep hill, passing beneath the low rail bridge at Kirkby Stephen station.

Continue over the moors for 2 miles, passing the left turn for Sedbergh, before descending into the upper Lune valley passing Ravenstonedale. 2 miles on Newbiggin-on-Lune is on your left. Having PASSED the left turning into the village next to Lune Springs Garden Centre, take the sharp THIRD left turn (a staggered crossroads) into Newbiggin, Luneside Cottages are 50 yards on your left, immediately after the Methodist Chapel, parking is to the rear.
